THE INSIDE STORY
Within the power steering system the fluid is subjected to extremes of heat and pressure which cause the fluid to degrade. As part of this degredation, carbon, acids and oil varnishes are deposited on critical surfaces. The heat and pressure also causes oil seals to harden, which results in external leaks and internal pressure losses.
